Just an Improvement, (Iv played it before using a different tab), I felt like it sounded more like the actual thing. Maybe it's just my Bass? Well try this out but you don't have to listen to me. I h=just changed to a note lower for each for the A string.

songs can be played many ways is just pitch really. I find the origional sounds best for feel good inc. And to me the last part sounds best as a slide. So

Read the numbers left to right. The letters represent your 4 strings. The numbers represent the fret you play it on. Sequence from left to right is just the order of the notes. Its easy to learn tableture

Permlink Quote What do the numbers on the strings mean? I'm not educated in the ways of the bass

@Noodle_Panda The number on the strings corisponds with the fret on the neck of your Bass just as with a regular acoustic/electric guitar. “0” is an open string “1” is the first fret at the very end so on and so forth.

The strings run EADG working from the top down.
The numbers are the fret you press when you play each string.
Your fingers will get faster with practice.
Play some of the simple riffs shown. slowly and then as it becomes easier, speed up a bit until it sounds good.
I'm new too but there is no substitute for practice and playing.

This is how Feel Good Inc. should really be played. Tune your guitar a half step down to E flat and etc. , it will sound better.

No you're not an idiot for not knowing Thunderstruck when played on bass, the guy who commented it first is an idiot for not realizing it's a guitar riff

RE; BEST ADVICE EVER: practive slow (very slow)… brake any riff down to small parts, if needed just two notes..when u are confidend going it slow, u can build up tempo. Its a bit hard thing to do, because we all want to play at first go. But its THE most important thing every musician will tell u i guess.
(when practicing slow brains have much more time memorising hand positions, transitions from note to note etc.)
sorry for my bad english i hope u get the point
